About Who Dat?
Who Dat? is a classroom tool that helps teachers learn their students' names, faces, and basic information more quickly. It implements the Canvas API to provide users with access to their Canvas class infomation like class roster, user photos, course names, Instructor, and section numbers.
Starting a new class can make it difficult to remember every student right away. Who Dat? gives teachers a simple way to review students, practice matching names to faces, and build stronger classroom connections.

- Upload or view student photos. Allows for users to upload photo while also setting Canvas user photos as default.
- Practice with name-matching activities. Test yourself by matching students to their correct names.
- Review until names stick. Revisit student profiles and activities whenever you need a refresher.
Why It Matters
Learning student names is one of the simplest ways a teacher can create a more personal and respectful classroom environment. When students know their teacher recognizes them, they are more likely to feel comfortable participating, asking questions, and engaging with the class.
